Those people that are only looking down on you to offer you a hand up to make things easier because they believe in you and they just want to help you with no strings attached.
Unconditional love, as I am discovering does not come with a counter action clause or a “you need to do this because we did this for you” guilt attached to it.
And one that is not loaded with responsibility because you have some sense of accountability to the person delivering this supposed love, it is a love that just flows, good times and bad times. One that a loved one can say things to you that you don't necessarily agree with but one you know comes from a good place, with your best interest at heart, so you listen, you stop, you take stock and you are blessed that they want to offer their thoughts.
Not the kind of love that makes you squirm, that you dismiss before you have even heard the person out… one that is not controlling in a "do it my way" fashion.
So I am blessed and constantly surprised by how easy it is to not feel you have to earn love, that to be just born into this world is a gaurantee that you will receive a love that is not limited by your own input. This is not unconditional love so I am learning.
Unconditional love comes with no limits, no expectations and no structure.
So bend down and offer an unconditonal hand to that loved one in your life, and I do believe you will be rewarded by your faith.
